You are a gift to the world
Give
Not what you have
But what you love
Not
God is in my heart
But rather
I am in the heart of God

Knight of Pentacles
The gift is present
The intention is to give
But who is receiving?
Where is the effort going toward?
Is he waiting to be seen?
Waiting to be received?
Is he asking
Like many of us
What is my gift?
And
What am I supposed to do with it?

Nine of Wands Reversed
Wounded but not defeated
Hesitant but still looking forward
Nine of Wands is the part that cautions
History may repeat itself
Story can circle back to its beginning
Lessons learned
We are not naive anymore
We know it takes courage
Strength
Resilience
Perseverance
To keep going
Yet
We choose it again

Six of Cups
And we return
Not stronger
or tougher
But softer
Sweeter
More innocent
More open
For what draws us back is nothing but
Love
Joy
Connection
We are not just the giver
We are also the receiver

The story
Knight of Pentacles is adult, dutiful, serious
Six of Cups is child, affectionate, playful
Nine of Wands reversed is the bridge
The body returns to its natural state
Tensions released
Softening
The star encircled
In the hands of the Knight
Multiplied
Blossoming in Six of Cups
Armor transformed into plain clothes
Grown-up stance to child’s play
No longer high up on the horse
Now down on the ground
No longer alone
Now together
Tarot seems to tell us a story
A reminder that
To continue the journey doesn’t require more
But less
The goal of growing up can be a return to innocence
To what’s closer to heart
Life can be simpler than your imagination
Easier
More ordinary
Everything can be smaller
No calamity to reverse
No world to save
No hero to be
Less
But truer

Hello?
Do you want to play?
